EU to Allocate Over 1 Million Euros for Demining in the Balkans

Brussels, 26 February - The European Commission is to allocate this year some EUR 1.2m to the International Trust Fund for Demining and Mine Victims Assistance (ITF) for demining border areas between Serbia and Croatia, Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina, and Albania and Kosovo, ITF director Jernej Cimpersek said on Wednesday, after having held talks with EU officials in Brussels.
