Railways Act Passed by Parliament

Ljubljana, 26 February - The government-proposed bill on transformation and privatisation of the Slovenian Railways (SZ) was passed by parliament in a fast-track procedure on Wednesday. 38 MPs voted in favour of the bill, while ten were against it. In government opinion, the act is essential for rehabilitation of the major public company.
