Seminar in Maribor Points to Poor Knowledge of Human Rights
Maribor, 28 February - A five-day human rights seminar for teachers and activists from 17 countries in SE Europe closed in Maribor Friday. Around 40 participants got acquanited with the latest developments in teaching human rights and peace education. The event was addressed Monday by Slovenian Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek, who stressed a rather poor knowledge of human rights in the country.
