Vilnius Declaration Was Meant to Stop the Trans-Atlantic Row, Says Rupel

Maribor, 1 March - It was not Slovenia that thought up the Vilnius declaration, but it did add corrections to it as far as that was possible, Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel said in an interview for the daily Vecer on Saturday. As Rupel explained, he understood the move in the same sense as the letter of the eight European countries, as an initiative to stop the trans-Atlantic row and to form common positions.
