Top EU Visits to Slovenia Ahead of Referendum
Brussels/Ljubljana, 2 March - At the beginning of the month in which Slovenians are to decide whether they wish to join the EU or not, two top EU officials are visiting country. Head of the European Commission Romano Prodi is expected on Friday, while EU Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen is coming for a two-day visit on Thursday.
