Enlargement Commissioner Debates EU Future with Slovenian MPs
Ljubljana, 6 March - Throughout the accession process, Slovenia has been among the leading candidates and nobody doubts any more about its membership in the Union. But this would be impossible without the close co-operation between the government and the parliament, European Enlargement Commissioner Guenter Verheugen told members of the parliamentary European affairs commission and the foreign policy committee on Thursday. Verheugen also met with President Janez Drnovsek.
