Interior Minister Receives Interim Police Report on Petek Case

Ljubljana, 6 March - Interior Minister Rado Bohinc has received an interim police report on the case of Miro Petek, a journalist of the daily Vecer who was brutally beaten up two years ago. The report comes after Bohinc gave police guidelines on the investigation of the case, STA learnt from the Interior Ministry's PR office. The ministry also said that the minister has already asked the parliamentary enquiry commission to brief him on all facts that supposedly prove that police officials were reluctant to co-operate with the parliamentary investigators.
