Foreign Ministry Insists Croatia and Slovenia Agreed on Solution to Border Issues

Ljubljana, 6 March - Responding to a statement of Croatian President Stipe Mesic, who said that he favours the establishment of an Italian and Croatian economic zone in the Adriatic sea, whereby Slovenia would be given access to international waters, the Slovenian Foreign Ministry said in a press release Thursday that the Slovenian and Croatian governments have already agreed on and confirmed possible solutions to the border between the two countries, including the sea border, so Slovenia expects that what has been agreed will also be fulfilled.
