Ljubljana, 6 March - NATO membership is useful for small countries, which can protect their sovereignty much better in a collective defence organisation, was just one of the arguments in favour of NATO membership expressed by participants at a panel discussion on Thursday. The discussion on Slovenia and NATO included head of the German parliamentary foreign affairs committee Volker Ruehe and Belgium's and Hungary's ambassadors to NATO, Dominique Struye de Swielande and Janos Herman.
