Gov't Decision on Direct Payments Is Wise, Says Agriculture Minister
Ljubljana, 7 March - In view of the changed economic situation it has been wise of the government to decide that Slovenian farmers are to get direct payments in the amount of not lower than 75 percent of the EU average, as this will save the government's credibility in the eyes of its citizens and the EU, Agriculture Minister Franci But told the press Friday.
