Ljubljana, 8 March - The day of the EU and NATO membership referendums in Slovenia, 23 March, is the second most important date for the country, right after 23 December 1990, when Slovenians decided for independence at the plebiscite, Slovenian President Janez Drnovsek told Saturday's edition of daily Dnevnik.
