Review of Slovenia's Economy between 1 and 7 March

Ljubljana, 9 March - After days of negotiations between the agriculture and the finance ministries, the government granted compensations for direct payments to Slovenian farmers at 75 percent of those in the EU. Meanwhile the strategic council for economic development of the government convened for the first time under chairmanship of new PM Anton Rop, discussing inflation and public spending.
