Vets Ascertain New BSE Suspicion in Slovenia
Ljubljana, 11 March - Possible presence of Bovine Spongiform Encephalopathy (BSE) has been suggested by the first test conducted by the Slovenian veterinary institute on the brain sample of a 3.5-year-old bovine. The sample was submitted to the institute last Friday as part of a systematic control over BSE presence, the Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) said on Tuesday.
