European Parliament Displeased with Financing of Enlargement
Brussels, 12 March - The European Parliament is displeased with the way EU enlargement is supposed to be financed, and wants to find appropriate solutions before the accession treaties are signed on 16 April, STA learnt from sources close to European Parliament President Pat Cox. Although there was no direct hint that the parliament might delay its go-ahead on enlargement, it has been confirmed that the issue has not yet made it to the parliament's agenda for April.
