Veterinary Inspectors Confirm Malpractice at Ljubljana Zoo
Ljubljana, 13 March - The Slovenian Veterinary Administration (VURS) has confirmed reports of misconduct at the Ljubljana Zoo, and told STA that inspectors have "undeniably verified violations of the act on the protection of animals and the veterinary act". Inspectors were sent to the zoo after nine workers accused their boss of gross misconduct, including illegal slaughter and trafficking of animals.
