Government's Move to Halt NLB Privatisation Far from Surprising, Delo Says

Ljubljana, 14 March - The government's decision not to sell its nearly nine percent share in the leading bank Nova Ljubljanska banka (NLB) in the second phase of the privatisation did not come unexpected. There are several reasons behind the decision. After the fiasco in October, the government judged there was no point in repeating the tender for selling the shares to domestic investors, daily Delo points out on Friday.
