Food Scandals Shatter Consumer Confidence in Safe Food
Ljubljana, 14 March - Slovenia takes good care of safe food, as there are several supervisory bodies in the country, however consumer confidence is fading in the wake of recent food scandals, such as the detection of the banned drug Chloramphenicol in milk and the third BSE suspicion, which has emerged only recently, Barbara Miklavcic of the Consumer Protection Office said Friday ahead of World Consumers' Rights Day.
