EU and NATO Referendums Could Be Repeated in Case of Failure

Ljubljana, 15 March - Next Sunday, on 23 March, Slovenian voters will go to the polls to decide whether Slovenia should become a member of the EU and NATO. Since the parliament adopted a special constitutional law, the result of the referendums will be binding for the legislators. The referendums cannot be repeated after the accession treaties are ratified, and invalid ballots will not affect the outcome.
