Foreign Ministry on Iraq Situation
Ljubljana, 18 March - Slovenia's Foreign Ministry regrets that the UN Security Council, a body primarily responsible for global peace and security, could not reach a consensus and make a decision on Iraq disarmament despite efforts of all of its members. Although the use of force against Iraq might seem imminent, the ministry said in its public statement Tuesday, we have to review all alternatives for a peaceful solution of the crisis.
