EU and NATO Referendum Date Is Inconvenient, Says Jansa

Ljubljana, 19 March - Ahead of Sunday's EU and NATO referendums, head of the opposition Social Democrats (SDS) Janez Jansa called upon Slovenian voters one more time to opt for the memberships in both organisations. Holding a news conference on Wednesday, Jansa also criticised the government for launching the NATO campaign too late and for setting the referendum date at the time of looming Iraq war.
