Insurer Triglav to Carry Out State-Supplied Capital Increase
Ljubljana, 19 March - In order to bring the ratio of public and private capital in Zavarovalnica Triglav, Slovenia's largest insurance company, back to how it was before two capital increases were carried out, the Slovenian Restitution Fund (SOD) is to supply SIT 8.5bn (EUR 36.6m) of fresh capital, according to a proposal drafted by the Slovenian Auditing Institute. The insurance company will then return the money to existing shareholders, STA was told by Marjan Odar, head of the auditing institute.
