Planica: Hautamaeki Wins Event, Malyzs Emerges Overall Winner
Planica, 22 March - Finland's Matti Hautamaeki topped off his two world record jumps over the previous two days of the Planica Ski Jumping World Cup Finals with the victory in the individual competition on Saturday. With jumps of 214 and 221 metres (433.5 points) he beat Poland's Adam Malyzs, who managed jumps of 224.5 and 209.5metres (432.3 pints). Austria's Martin Hoellwart came in third (199 m, 198 m; 386.4 points).
