Review of Slovenian Economy Between 15 and 21 March

Ljubljana, 23 March - The war in Iraq will have only indirect effects on Slovenia's economy. The central bank has assessed that changes of oil prices will be short-term. If the oil fields in Iraq are not destroyed, there will be no need to change Slovenia's monetary policy. Meanwhile, a third BSE case was confirmed in Slovenia, while surprise veterinary tests at milk-producing farms have not come up with any new cases of banned drug Chloramphenicol presence in milk samples.
