SNS Urges Gov't to Protect Slovenia's Interests Ahead of EU and NATO Entry
Ljubljana, 24 March - Slovenia's entry into the EU will affect those with the lowest standard of living, while NATO membership will result in a rise of the defence budget at the expense of funds for the economy and welfare, the opposition National Party said in a press release on Monday, a day after the voters strongly backed the EU and NATO membership at the referendums.
