The Vote Won't Change Slovenia's Ratings, Economist Kovac Says

Ljubljana, 24 March - Economist Bogomir Kovac does not believe Slovenia's international ratings will change after Sunday's EU and NATO referendums. "There will be no major positive impact, because after all everybody had expected the outcome to be positive," Kovac told STA on Monday. Kovac, who openly opposed NATO membership in debates ahead of the referendum, believes that by backing NATO entry Slovenia missed the chance to increase its profile abroad.
