Slovenia Is not in War Coalition, but Could Get Funds for Terrorism Fight, Says PM's Office
Ljubljana, 28 March - The PM's office on Friday explained what PM Anton Rop meant on Thursday when he said that the U.S. State Department made a mistake in regard to US$ 5m Slovenia was supposed to get as a reward for participation in the "coalition of the willing". "It is clear that Slovenia cannot get additional funds for being part of the anti-Iraq coalition, but it can get additional funds as part of the co-operation and alliance with the U.S. in the struggle against terrorism," said the office in a press release.
