Stability Pact Meeting Focuses on the Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking
Portorož, 28 March - Human trafficking is one of the fastest growing forms of organised crime in SE Europe; the age among the victims is getting lower and there do not seem to be any measures in the region for an effective fight against this kind of crime, Helga Konrad, who chairs the SE Europe Stability Pact working group on the trafficking of people, said at a news conference after the fifth meeting of the Stability Pact in Portoroz on Friday.
