LJSE in Limbo as Iraq War Progresses

Ljubljana, 29 March - Although the ongoing war in Iraq has started affecting trading on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) the investor's fear has been offset by the interest of foreigners in the pharmaceutical company Krka. At a relatively modest turnover of SIT 5.7bn (EUR 24.5m) the benchmark SBI 20 thus recorded a weekly gain of over one percent (33.41 points), closing trading at 3,214.45 points.
