Ljubljana, 30 March - The STA English service will cover the following events on Monday, 31 March:
BRUSSELS - A new round of negotiations on enlargement of the European Economic Area (EEA) between the future EU members, among them Slovenia, and the current EEA members is to be held.
ROME - Slovenian Economics Minister Tea Petrin is due to attend a meeting of economy ministers from the Adriatic-Ionian Initiative. The meeting will take place in the framework of the second working table, examining issues of the economy, tourism and co-operation between small and mid-sized companies.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenia's national forum on the future of Europe is to review the proposed chapters of the future EU constitution. The session is to be presided by Slovenian Foreign Minister Dimitrij Rupel, who is also the government member in the European Convention discussing the future of the EU.
LJUBLJANA - The president of the Bavarian Constitutional Court Edda Huther is scheduled to begin a two-day visit to Slovenia. Huther is due to meet with her Slovenian counterpart and host Dragica Wedam Lukic and Justice Minister Ivan Bizjak.
LJUBLJANA - Officials from Slovenia's Statistical Office are to present preliminary data about first quarter GDP growth, as well as figures for 2002 economic growth.
