Slovenia's Economic Growth at Over 3 Percent in 2002

Ljubljana, 31 March - According to the first estimates, Slovenia's GDP totalled SIT 5,285bn (EUR 22.7bn) in 2002, a growth of 11.5 percent over 2001. Considering the 8-percent implicit inflation, Slovenia's economic growth in 2002 amounted to 3.2 percent, the National Statistical Office said Monday. The office also revealed the annual inflation rate which amounted to 6.3 percent in March.
