Slovenian Democracy Has Its Weaknesses, Jancar Says

Ljubljana, 31 March - A leading Slovenian contemporary writer, essayist and dramatist, Drago Jancar, has received a host of awards so far, the latest being the prestigious Herder Prize for promoting cultural ties in Eastern and Central Europe. As he is to be conferred the award on 9 May in Vienna, Jancar pondered on his role as Slovenia's cultural ambassador, Europe's future and Slovenian media in an interview for Saturday's supplement of the daily Delo.
