New Local Border Crossing Regime on Slovenian-Croatian Border
Ljubljana, 1 April - A new regime of border crossing between Slovenia and Croatia was introduced on Tuesday as part of the bilateral cross-border agreement (SOPS). People living along the border will be able to cross it at special local points and other crossings with required documents, a regime which will be kept even after the Schengen border is introduced in the wake of Slovenia's EU accession scheduled for 2004.
