Adria Gives Up on Belgrade Flight, to Focus on Podgorica

Ljubljana, 1 April - The Slovenian national airlines has decided that it would no longer pursue plans for flights to the Serbian capital, Belgrade. Explaining the decision, Adria Airways general manager Branko Lucovnik stressed that the carrier was not issued the required permits from authorities in Belgrade. "We do not know why this has happened, we can only guess that it is a case of protecting the domestic airlines," Lucovnik said.
