Ljubljana, 1 April - The STA English service will cover the following events on Wednesday, 2 April:
SKOPJE - President Janez Drnovsek is to leave ona two-day official visit to Macedonia, on invitation of counterpart Boris Trajkovski. The president is to be accompanied by Economics Minister Tea Petrin, Europe Minister Janez Potocnik and Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski. Drnovsek and the Macedonian president are to open a business forum together, while on Thursday, Drnovsek is to meet parliament speaker Nikola Popovski.
SKOPJE - The finacial commitee of the successor states to the former Yugoslavia are to meet to tackle clearing debts of all countries except the former Soviet Union and deposits of former Yugoslavia's national bank in foreign banks.
BRUSSELS - An international, ethical, political and scientific collegiate body is to be inaugurated at the European Parliament in Brussels. The body was initiated by a number of statesmen and intelectuals, including the former Slovenian President Milan Kucan.
LJUBLJANA - Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek has called for the second working meeting with State Prosecutor General Zdenka Cerar, Interior Minister Rado Bohinc, Health Minister Dusan Keber, Education Minister Slavko Gaber, President of Supreme Court Mitja Deisinger. The meeting at 10 AM is to touch on special legislation to tackle domestic violence.
BERN - Agriculture Minister Franci But is to visit Switzerland until Friday. The Slovenian delegation is to visit several Swiss institutions related to agriculture.
LJUBLJANA - Slovenian football team is to play against Cyprus at 8:15 PM in the qualifiers for the 2004 European Cup.
