Act on Domestic Violence Should be Adopted This Year, Ombudsman Says
Ljubljana, 2 April - Slovenian Ombudsman Matjaz Hanzek on Wednesday held talks with the government and judiciary officials in a bid to find a legal solution tackling domestic violence. Hanzek, State Prosecutor General Zdenka Cerar, and, to some extent, Health Minister Dusan Keber agreed that a special act on domestic violence should be drafted.
