Slovenian Officials Urge EU Convention to Split External Border Costs
Brussels, 3 April - Slovenian members of the Convention on the Future of the EU said on Thursday that the division of expenses for the EU's external border, the Schengen border, should be written down in the EU's constitution. Addressing the plenary of the constitutional convention, the Slovenian delegation noted that under current EU regulations, member states themselves must carry the costs.
