Stock Market Sees Year's Lowest Weekly Turnover
Ljubljana, 5 April - After a slow beginning of the week, which saw a dropping trend on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange, a turnaround on Wednesday pushed the shares back up again. The overall weekly turnover reached a year low, as it amounted to mere SIT 3.9bn (EUR 16.8m), with lot deals accounting for 41 percent. The benchmark SBI index SBI 20 - which is as of 1 April compiled from the prices of shares of 15 companies with highest market capitalisation in free circulation - lost 7.76 points (0.24 percent) to close at 3,206.69 points on Friday.
