Public Administration Reform to Focus on Implementation This Year
Ljubljana, 5 April - The Slovenian public administration is facing radical changes in an attempt to increase its efficiency and rationalise its operation. After key system laws for public administration reform were passed in 2002, this year's focus will be on implementing these acts. The pubic servants act, which will take effect at the end of June, brings a number of novelties and will cause a reshuffle of the state administration, the ministerial bodies and government offices.
