New Impetus for Slovenia's Regional Policy
Ljubljana, 7 April - Slovenia has laid down its vision of economic and regional development by drawing up two strategic documents, namely "The Strategy for Economic Development of Slovenia (SEDS)" and "The Strategy for the Regional Development of Slovenia (SRDS)". With the adoption of the latter, Slovenia has completed the task assumed in 1999, when it passed the Balanced Regional Development Act, while a more detailed direction for future implementation of regional policy was also laid down in the document.
