Financial Times Comments on Slovenia's Preparations for Schengen
London, 8 April - By late 2005 or early 2006, Slovenia needs to be ready to police its border with Croatia, which is to become the EU's external border following Slovenia's accession to the EU on 1 May 2004. The protection of the EU's external border is to be in line with the high standards of the EU's Schengen agreement which allows free movement of people between its signatories, the U.K. daily Financial Times (FT) writes in its supplement dedicated to Slovenia on Tuesday.
