Farmers Unhappy with Changes to Farm Land Act

Ljubljana, 9 April - Farmers are dissatisfied with changes to the land farm act passed on Tuesday evening, saying that they hamper the development of the countryside and agriculture. They are most furious about the order in which preemptive rights were given to those who can purchase or lease farmland. While the Agriculture Ministry, too, does not agree with the changes entirely, it pointed out that they have filled the void in the legislation.
