Ljubljana, 9 April - The STA English service will cover the following events on Thursday, 10 April:
LJUBLJANA - The parliamentary foreign affairs committe is to convene for an emergency session at 1.30 PM. The agenda will include a letter sent by ZLSD lawmaker Aurelio Juri to Prime Minister Anton Rop calling for Slovenia to join the initiative given by Belgium, Germany, France and Luxembourg to strengthen common European defence policy.
PORTOROZ - A two-day workshop about the oil industry in an enlarged Europe is to kick off at 9.30 AM, organised by Slovenia's national oil committee, which is part of the World Petroleum Congress.
LJUBLJANA - The first session of the Slovenia-Moldova trade and economic co-operation commission is to be held. The chairs of the commission, Slovenia's Economics Minister Tea Petrin and her Moldovian counterpart Stefan Odagiu, are to give a press statement after the session at 5 PM.
LJUBLJANA - Irish Labour Minister Frank Fahey is to hold talks with the Slovenian Labour Ministry officials on the second day of his three-day visit. A meeting with Economics Minister Tea Petrin will also be on his agenda.
LJUBLJANA - Slovak Health Minister Rudolf Zajac with a delegation is to arrive for a two-day visit. He and his Slovenian counterpart Dusan Keber are to sign a 2003-2004 programme of health co-operation in the morning.
BELGRADE - Experts from the successor states to former Yugoslavia are to hold a meeting to discuss the amount of the clearing debt by individual countries, except from the former Soviet Union.
