IMF: Slovenia's GDP Growth at 3.2% in 2003, 3.9% in 2004
Washington, 9 April - Slovenia is expected to register a 3.2% GDP growth in 2003 and 3.8% GDP growth in 2004, according to the International Monetary Fund (IMF). Inflation is to stand at 5.7% in 2003, while in 2004 it is expected to drop to five percent. Slovenia's GDP growth is thus expected to be slightly below that of the EU candidates, where it is to stand at 3.9% in 2003 and 4.5% in 2004.
