Sales on Retail Market Drop By 23.4 Percent in January

Ljubljana, 10 April - Retail sales, sales of motor vehicles, fuel and requirements for their maintenance registered a drop by 18.6 percent in real terms in January compared to December 2002. The biggest real drop of sales was 27.4 percent, registered with food retailers, a bit smaller was the drop in motor vehicle maintainance. Sales also dropped in other retailers (18.6 percent), motor vehicles (5.7 percent) and fuel (12.5 percent).
