Mercator to Make 40% of Sales on Former Yugoslav Markets by 2006, CEO Jankovic Says

Ljubljana, 11 April - The Mercator group last year generated some ten percent of its revenues in the markets of Croatia, Bosnia-Herzegovina and Serbia-Montenegro, and that share is to rise to between 16 to 18 percent this year, the retailer's CEO Zoran Jankovic told Friday's Delo. He added that these new markets, as he calls them, are anticipated to account for 40 percent of all Mercator's sales by the end of 2005.
