Slovenia Is the Most Advanced Future Member in Terms of Social Affairs, Says EU
Brussels, 11 April - In the field of employment and social affairs, Slovenia is the most advanced of all the future EU members, European Commissioner for Social Affairs Anna Diamantopulu said on Friday after a meeting with Slovenian Labour Minister Vlado Dimovski. The Slovenian unemployment rate is six percent under the EU average (7.5 percent), while as far as employment is concerned, Slovenia outruns the EU with impressive 64.4 percent.
