Slovenia to Sign EU Accession Treaty on Wednesday
Ljubljana, 13 April - Slovenia will join nine other candidate countries in signing the Accession Treaty with the EU on Wednesday in Athens. The document sets down the terms of membership for the ten upcoming EU members that are scheduled to join on 1 May 2004. Signing the deal on behalf of Slovenia will be President Janez Drnovsek and Prime Minister Anton Rop.
