Review of the Slovenian Economy from 5 to 11 April
Ljubljana, 13 April - Social partners in Slovenia took a step closer to finalising a comprehensive social agreement that has been in the works for seven years now. By reaching agreement on two of the most critical chapters, the three sides - employers, unions and government - seem only days away from finalising the deal. Meanwhile, European veterinary inspectors on visit to Slovenia were quite critical of the Slovenian Veterinary Administration's (VURS) handling of the Chloramphenicol scandal in the country at the end of last year.
