Delo on Compensations to "Erased" Citizens
Ljubljana, 14 April - The Constitutional Court has dispelled all doubts by ruling that some 18,000 Slovenian inhabitants that were erased from the population register in 1992 should be given a possibility to resume their previous status and gain citizenship. Lower courts will probably decide whether the erased, originally from other republics of the former Yugoslavia, are also entitled to compensations, the daily Delo observes on Monday.
