Court's Decision on Erased Citizens is Unprecedented, Says SDS
Ljubljana, 16 April - Retroactive interventions into the Slovenian Constitution are clearly in violation of the Slovenian Constitution, the executive comittee of the opposition Social Democrats (SDS) said on Wednesday, commenting on the recent decison of the Constitutional Court, which ruled last week that Slovenian inhabitants coming from the republics of former Yugoslavia who were erased from the population register in 1992 should be given permanent residence.
